Dr. Vinod Raina is one of India’s foremost Medical Oncologists with over 40 years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology. A renowned powerhouse of knowledge and expertise, Dr. Raina served as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he mentored nearly 70 residents and DM students, many of whom now hold leading positions in India and abroad.

He specializes in the treatment of all adult cancers, with particular expertise in Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gastrointestinal Malignancies, Genitourinary Cancers, Gynaecological Malignancies, Lymphomas, and Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplants. He has personally performed approximately 400 bone marrow/stem cell transplants for various cancers.

Dr. Raina has significant research experience and was the Principal Investigator in around 50 clinical projects during his 24-year tenure at AIIMS. He is also the Co-Founder of the INDOX network, which has contributed to expanding oncology research in India.

He joined Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram in 2013 as Director and Head of Medical Oncology and Haematology, was promoted to Executive Director in 2017, and currently serves as the Chairman of Oncosciences at Fortis Healthcare.
