Dr. Mriganka Shekar Sharma is a highly qualified and experienced surgeon, specializing in Minimal Access, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery. With an MBBS and MS in General Surgery, he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS)—a prestigious recognition of his clinical expertise and commitment to surgical excellence.
His journey into advanced surgical care has taken him through several renowned fellowships. In 2013, he completed a Fellowship in Bariatric and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida, followed by another specialized Fellowship in Laparoscopic, Bariatric, and Metabolic Surgery in Indore in 2014. These global exposures have enriched his surgical skills and enabled him to deliver cutting-edge, patient-centered care.
Dr. Sharma’s core area of expertise lies in Minimal Access Surgery, which includes laparoscopic procedures that are less invasive and promote quicker recovery. He is particularly known for his work in treating obesity and metabolic disorders through advanced bariatric surgical techniques.
