• Started cardiac surgical programs at Puttaparthi (1992), Whitefield (2001), and Max Heart and Vascular Institute, Saket (2004).

• Designed and developed over 50 surgical instruments specifically for cardiac surgery.

• Conducted over 15,000 successful cardiac and vascular procedures with excellent outcomes, on par with the best worldwide.

• Was part of the team that performed the first successful heart transplantation in India in 1994.
