Dr. Rahul Bhargava started his journey in Stem Cell Transplantation at Medanta in 2010. Since then, he has been at the forefront of innovation and accessibility in this field. Driven by his mission for an anaemia-free and thalassemia-free India, Dr. Bhargava has actively partnered with various government initiatives to offer low-cost BMT treatments to underserved populations.

His vision of the first integrated Centre of Excellence in Haematology, Paediatric Haematology, and Stem Cell Transplant has been fulfilled at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, where he currently leads as the Principal Director & Chief.

In 2016, Dr. Bhargava became the first Indian doctor to perform and popularize stem cell transplant for Multiple Sclerosis. He is widely regarded as one of the best stem cell transplant experts in Delhi and Gurgaon.

His dedication to community haematology is evident in his screening of over 500 school children across Haryana in 2018 and his participation in 1,000+ Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. His community outreach and awareness-building around blood disorders further establish him as one of the most respected hematologists in Delhi and Gurgaon.
