With over 35 years of experience in cardiac surgery, Dr. Z.S. Meharwal is a pioneer in several complex heart operations and the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) program. He has successfully performed over 30,000 surgeries, including many highly specialized and complex cardiac operations. As one of the founding members of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, he has played an instrumental role in shaping its reputation in cardiac care.
